Norman Cober
Norman Cober, who lived all his
life in thy Vicinity of Ethel and
Brussels, died in Victoria hospital
London, on Sunday, June 13th, in his

Born in Bala, the son of the. late
Mr. and Mrs. John Caber, he made
his home for some time et the
Queen's hotel, Brnesels. He was
by trade a carriage builder.
Ile is survived by one brother,Aaron, of Victoria, R.C., and two
nieces, Mrs. R. Welsh and Mrs. E.
Kyle, of Moorefield, Ont.
Funeral services wera conducted
at the D. A Bann funeral Parlour on
Tuesday. Jure 15th by Rev EL Q. I,

interment took place in Tirusseb.

of the United States army doing
relief duty, Directly after this he
went to Havana at the time of the
uprieing. Tt way. during the Cuban
Pacification that n bullet shattered
his left drip. in 1511 Mr. Gillis
returned again to Canada, He carne
to Brussels from Wroxeter, eighteen
years ago.
The late Mr, Gillis is snrvirerl by
his wife, three Sons, Morris, Orval
and Harry and three daughters,
Emma, Margaret and Francis, One
son, ,Johnny, and two daughters,
Rose and Levine predeceased their
, fathea'.
Funeral scrvirc was held at Ills
late home, by Rev, ,T. Kerr of St.
I d'olnn's Anglican Church, Service
Int the grave side was conducted by
the Brussels branch of The Can
. adieu Legion with Rev. H. Wilson
of the Milted Church.
