Auld, now of the Essex Free Press, bought THE Pas* from McGillicuddy Bros, and for the past 37 years the former has ptlored the jourualistie craft. Now and then there have been storms btu oc the whole the voyage has been very pleasant and prosperous. To day we speak to a larger donstilueucy than on any former occas- ion and it is still broadening. Much of the credit is due to a corps of good col,' respondents whose work has bean ap- preciated by our large circulation Many have been the changes of the per. sonnel of the business people of Brussels since we tackled the job in our youth. most of the old timers having either moved elsewhere or were called to an- other world so that there are compara- tively few of 37 years standing with whom we can rub thumbs, Our desire has always been to make THE Pos' a welcome weekly visitor to the home and we wish to thank our readers for the cordial support accorded. Plans for im- provemeut are ender consideration as our desire and intention is, as it has al- ways been, to make the paper a credit to Brussels and locality. We would tike to add 30o names to our list this Fall and ask the kindle assistance of the public generally to accomplish it. Help make it a better weekly than ever. ,J.'1 -•ti••• -4.+++•+0444-•+++•+•+•+o +0+45+ea••+•+•+•+•+••I'•••+•+• ow bebas tern RASPRERRTES are a good crop, LIGHT frost one night last week.
