BIRTHDAY PARTY -At the home of
John C. and Mrs. Cooper, Chicago, a
Birthday party was given in honor of
Mrs. Wm, Newsom, (Mrs. Cooper's
mother) of Brussels, on December 3rd.
The guest was 8o years ot age and she
was made the recipient of numerous
beautiful and useful presents. At the
party were four daughters and their
busbands, c grandchildren and 9 Reek
grandchildren. All had a very pleasant
time and were happy in having Mrs,

formerly of 1-3ruesels, when her estimable
daughter, Miss Possie, was united in
marriage with George H. Wallace, of

Ont., in the presence of immediate
friends. The good looking bride were
