Thursday afternoon of last week
Wm. Reid's horse had an exciting
runaway and got quite a bath in the
Maitland. Mr. Reid tied the animal
in the Presbyterian sheds, but some-
thing frightening it, the animal broke
loose and ran away passing down the
street past Mr. Bunston's at a furious
'lace. It ran through the river into
