The flour and chopping mill is tak-
ing an enforced holiday. Some of the
cogs of the crown wheel on the en-
gine shaft were broken and had to be
sent to Toronto for repairs, which will
only take a few days. The owners
have commenced to repair the dean.
A concrete wall will be built to make
it secure from washouts in futute.

is unsafe for traffic and the Council
has posted up notices to that effect.
The Spring freshet undermined the
West abutment. It will cost the
township about 33000. The old bridge
will be made use of seine other place
as the epout is too short for this par-
ticular place. A new bridge with a
longee span will be erected then!.
Washouts and injured culverts will
cnst the township about 3500, This
with additional expense of county
loses will make taxes high this year.
