The' late John Torrance was born at Edwardsburg, Grenville County, 67 years ago, being the son of the late John and Mary lane Torrance. As a pioneer of the Queen', Bush. deceased came to Morningtou township in 1854, experiencing all the hardships incident to clearing the land.
