MRs. GANNET DEOEiteED.—The very
sudden death of Mrs. George T. Gan-
net has cant a gloom over this vicinity.
On Wednesday evening she retired in
good health and at 8 o'clock in the
Inornit>.g was awake and rnade no
complaint. About 5 o'clock Mr. Gan.
not awoke and noticed his wit.beath-
ing heavily and tried to arouse her
but in vain, she passed away iia few
minutes. Mt's, Gannet was w daugh-
ter of Philip Thomas and was horn in
Ternberry in 1867. In 1889 site was
married to Mr. Gannet Mel settled on
the farm they have occupied since.
She leaves a sorrowilig husband and it
family of 8 children, 4 �itls and 2
boys, all being Itt home lint Mts.

Gannet was a kind: net:chi n ,land will
be missed in the community. She
was a woman of excellent Christian
qualities. Very seldom was she ab-
sent from the services in. the (thumb to
which she belonged bringing all her
family with her. She will be much

Joseph accompanied the car
went on Monday. The latter may

Bulger will likely be away 0 or 8
weeks. Joseph Bulger has a home-
stead out futon Swift Oilment which
he will work this year. We wish hint

Anniversary services of the Metho-
dist Cherch here, which were held on
Sunday were a depided success. Rev.
Mr. Wren, of Ethel, preached tnori-
ing and evening to attentive cnugre-
gatione. Special music was rendered
by the choir and (a voc'tl selectiitn was
given at :each service by Petoivel
Harding, of Orangeville. On Monday
evening a Shr•edtled Wheat; Banquet
was served to a large mallet mg.
Those taking part in the evening's
pnogratn were Revs. Wren, of Ethel ;
Hibbert, of Gorvie; Russell and Collie,
of Wroxeter ; Misses Hazlewood acid
Biyaus, 3, Gibson, H. Harding and
Percival Harding. Proceeds amount-
ed to 875.00.
