Keep Canada's Farms and Factories Busy Out of the years they bring sweet charms, Sweet as roses from the prairie farms, Graceful as bough of swaying pine, Gracious as heart of Love divine. The Saturday afternoon meeting convened on the beautiful meadows of Plat 0reek, which orosses the old Armstrong farms on its merge to th.' Thames, a mile to the East. The smooth, level grass lauds are bordered on the East by the winding creek whose left bank rises boldly, bearing a beautiful maple grove. Westward they gracefully rice into rolling, fer- tile fields. These were the play- grounds of the families of the two brothers, Thomas and Johnston. Their grass, flowers and stream, their rooks, trees and birds thrilling with the memories of childhood are dear to them, and to this place they invite their many cousins for family re- union, It was a great gathering. There were surprises, laughter and tears, It was hard to realize that the of a fewear$ ago could play -fellows y g be gray-haired grandparents. Brit it was true, and they all bore their tum- ors gratefully. Nor did the enthusi- asm of the pleasuee fall until it reach- ed its high climax in the religlous ser» vice nn Sunday morning in the old Zion church.
