funeral on Thursday of Benjamin
Stafford who passed away on Tues-
day after a short illness. He is sur-
vived by his wife and three sons,
Cleve, Howick ; Frank and Walter,
Toronto.

The fourth annual Jordon reunion
was held on the spaoibus decorated
lawn of Duke Jordon, 5th line, on
July the tenth. The weather was
ideal and there were over eighty pre-
sent including all the remaining bro-
thers and sister. The afternoon was
spent in amusements such as races
softball etc.. At six o'clock the tab-
les wore set and all did justice to the
good eats. Relatives were present
from Montreal, V,indoor, Hawke.
stone, Guelph, Toronto, Mitchell and
Clinton. The 1930 re -union is to be
held at "Riverdale" the home of

mony the young couple left on a
wedding trip, the bride travelling in
'a dress of tomato and black flat
crepe with hat and shoes to match,
On their return they will reside on

I Obituary :—Willittrn T. Blake, a
lifelong resident of the 14th conces-
Sion of Grey Township, died Tuesday
night following a stroke of paraly-
i sis suffered Sunday night, and from
which he never rallied. Prior to this
deceased had enjoyed the best of
health, and had attended Church ser-
vice on Sunday morning and on Sat-
urday had been assisting at Shine's
School house in preparation for the
re -union. He was in his 53rd year,
and was the son of the late William
and Mrs. Blake, pioneer settlers of
Grey Township. Besides his wife who
was formerly Miss Mary Kennahan,
of Wawanosh Township, he is sur-
vived by five small children, the
youngest less than one year old.
They had been married thirteen y g
years. There are also three brothers Re -Union at Shine's School
and two sister, t. Patrick in B. C. ;
and

his family, who settled in Huron Co.,
near Clinton, He was educated at
Goderich grammar school and at Tor-

Church. His wife predeceased him
by about two and a half years. One
brother in Scotland, a sister, Miss
Jennie Graham in San Diego, Cal.,
one nephew, Andrew Graham, of
Stratford, and a niece, Miss Florence
Foss, Toronto, survive.
The body was brought to Brussels
on Satarday on the noon train, and
• burial was made in Brussels, ceme-
