Robertson will poll a good vote and if elected would make a "boss" Councillor. Jas. Bird, sr. and Jas. Bird, jr. were cleared et their trial at Gode- rich this week, on the charge of inter- fering with penbe ofiaers. Last Friday Wm. Dnlfelaw, 12th con, died of consumption, after n long illness, aged 22 years. He was bur- ied nt the Craubrook cemetery on Monday of this week. There will be some new blood at the Grey Council Board next year. Who the making men will be remains to be seal.
