Mr, Tay- lor was a native of Paisley, Soatland, and came to this country when a young man and began to hew out a home for himself in the woods. He settled on the farm where he has lived and where he died, ItIr. Taylor has not taken a very active part in the work on the farm for a few years back as he had the miefor• tune to have his leg broken and has been confined pretty closely to the house ever since. His kindly face will be missed in the seotion where he was reepeoted and liked by all he came in contact with, be. ing an obliging neighbor and a lcind father.
