The enlarged barn on tho Stratton
farm, west of Brussels, is about emn-
plated. It is 60x80 feet. Tho stone
work was done by A. Lowry and the
carpenter work by Dan. Zimmer.
The voters list for this township is in
Clerk Clark's hands. There are 911 names
in the six sub.divisions divided as
follows :—Part I, 773 ; Part II, 110 ;
Part III, 211 394 persons are qualified to
serve as jurors.
J. Thuell lost a valuable horse ou

way. The animal stepped on a stick on
the road and it flew up and pierced its
body causing it to bleed to death. The
horse was worth $126.
John Bolger left Brussels on Tuesday
for Cypress Man., where his brother is
residing. Geo. Kelly also went on the
same train to Glenboro'. Mr. Kelly has
been west before and therefore knows a
good deal about the country.
Tall wheat is a prime cru this year
and it will yield well. Jno. Cook, lot 18,
6th line, has Bunnell wheat in which 72
grains have been counted in one head.
Spring grains are also doing tiptop.
