DIRD.—In Brussels on Tuesday, June
4th, the spirit of Clara Amelia, third
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Hunter,
took its flighe after an illness of three or
four months ae),d the result of la grippe
which developed into tuberculosis. She
was born in Oranbrook, July 15th, 1878,
and came to Brussels when only two years
old. She was a'member of the Methodist
charah and took great, iutereet in all
ehriotian work. Her many friends will
grieve to hear at her early demise. The
funeral took place Thursday at 3.30. The
service was taken by Rev. D. B. McRae,
of Cranbrook,in theaboenoe of the paator
Rev. Jno. Holmen. The pall bearers were,
Ira Gerry, Fred Gilpin, Wendell Holmes,
James Thompson, Fred Downing and
Will. Mo0raoken. The interment was
made at Brussels oemetery. This is the
second death in the family in the last
few weeks end the sympathy of their
many friende go out to the Borrowing
family.
