Deceased, who was g8 years and to months old, was born iu the County of Donegal, Ireland, 1813, and came to Canada, in the Spring of 2849 and land- ed in Manvers township. in the: Fall he moved to Wellesley and settled on Lot t, Con. rt, where he spent the past Si years. 10 1857 he was united in mar- riage to Miss Sara Colvin, a sister of the late George Colvin, of Brussels,- who died 7 years ago. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Methodist church for over 8o years, belonged to the L. 0. L. and was a staunch Conservative.' He was out and voted at the last Municipal election and never missed using his franchise since he went to Wellesley. Mr. Crawford was of a bright add cheer- ful disposition, and possessed the re. spect and esteem of all who knew him. He always enjoyed life and never had a doctor for the last 3o years, until his' last illness, which was caused by a fall a few days previous and despite all that medical attendance could do death finally resulted as above stated.
