held he the Town Hall, Brussels, last
Satyrdav afternoon and was attended by
a very large and interested representa-
tion. Chair was occupied. by F. S. Scott,
the energetic President, who in his in-
troductory remarks referred to the suc-
cess of the Company, the steps taken to
secure connections with other rural lines
and also with the Bell Co. and urged all
subscribers to energetically push the hi-
stallatioo of phones in -unrepresented
homes where lines have been constructed.
The abstract statement' of receipts and
disbursement was read and explained.
It showed receipts to be $29465.09 and
disbursement, 529,308.23, leaving a. cash
balance of $156.86 and cash assets in
5% interest bearing debentures of
$6,180.35. Report: was adopted. The
Constitution was amended - re-
ducing number of directors to one in-
stead of two in each of the three nuini-
cipalities interested, the - President to be
chosen by the Board from the number
elected. Directors to bold office for a
year or until successors are appointed
and the annual fee for each to be $18.00
for attendance at meetings, etc. Reg-
