Sparrow ;—A sad death escorted on
Thursday February 31'd, when Lillian
R. Simpson, the beloved wife of ()e-
mir Sparrow, passed peacefully away
at the age of 21 years and 6 months,
Deceased was born in Ethel, being a
, daughter of the tete Thos. and Mrs.
Simpsom beth of whom died in the
year 1892, About three years ago
LillianMiss s l R. was happily marriedto her now bereaved ,and sorrowing
husband, Altar residing for a three
in Toronto' and then in Fleshez'ton
they removed to Wingham, where
they have since been highly respected
and esteemed citizens. MIs. Sparrow
Was a patient sufferer and bore' her
illness with a spirit that is •character-
istin, of those wile have strong faith
and confidence in their riseh Saviour.
Her death was triumphant for she
"knew in • whom she believed," De-
ceased was a blight aud accomplished
•yonug woman, and was beloved by
her many friends, and the heartfelt
sympathy of the community goes out

Janetta;Simpson, in the loss of the
blight young life from the home. In
harmony with the last wish of de-
ceased, her remains were interred in
the Brussels eetnetery beside those of
her parents. Her • pastor, Rev. Dr.

Powell, of Brussels, conducted the

floral tributes were sent by the Ep-
