TIMES DECE TBER> 25 1913 _ .._—.__..---------� S—A Merry Christmas to all our friends. --Last Sunday was the shortest day of the year. --William Holland, a pioneer resident of Goderich, is dead. —Robert Walker, a resident of Kin- cardine for 62 years, died last week in his 79th year. —Buy your railway tickets from H. Sidney, editor of the Wel- land Tribune since 1805 is dead after five months illness. --Wingham Dance Orchestra will fur- nish music for a ball at Fordwich on Dec. 20th, and also at the same place .on Dec, 30th. —Thos. Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Moore, of Huron Township, was killed last week in California by being accidentally shot. —A special meeting of Camp Cale- donia, Sons of Scotland, will be held on Tueday evening, Deanhber 30. Full attendance of members is requested as officers are to be elected. —Notice has been sent out by the Poet Office department that after Dec. Slat, 1313, couriers on rural mail routes will not be allowed to deliver mail to any person who has not a regulation box. -Mr. A. H. Wilford has severed his connection with the Wm. Davies Co., and intends engaging in the produce business in the town on his own account, Mr. Wilford will have an announcement in our next issue. —Send the TIMES to the absent mem- bers of the family or to the distant friend. It is as good as a letter from home and is a weekly visitor. You can better imagine how the home paper is appreciated when you are absent your- self and a copy is forwarded to you. —Miss Mary Isabella McKinnon, widow of the late Richard Howson, died in Arthur on Thursday last, in her 85th year. The remains were interred in Georgetown cemetery on Monday. Mrs. Hewson was mother of Mr. W. J.
