Nothing changes faster than clothing styles - including men's wear. But
the history of the Hanna Store stretches right back to those early days.
The first John Hanna established his store here in 1880, one year after
the town was incorporated. Since that lime, it has prospered under the
able direction of his son, George; his wife (who was a remarkable
businesswoman) and his second son, John, who served many years as
M.P.P. for Huron -Bruce.
The late Clare Cantelon succeeded John Hanna as owner until his
death. Since then, Mrs. Althea Stuckey has carried on the business.
Through all the years the Hanna Store has provided an immense
variety of the latest and finest in clothing for the well dressed
man or boy.
Congratulations Kingham
on this happy occasion!
