Wyoka for two days. The adults
Who accompanied the children on
this trip were Mr. Farnell and
Mr. Stewart, the pupils' home
room teachers, also Mrs. Louise

and parent volunteers.
Several interesting outdoor
activities were planned for this
occasion. The children arrived

The Wingham Intermediate
ladies' ball team dropped two
games in the last week. In a
Sunday game shortened by rain
Harriston beat the local girls 14-
13 and in a Thursday match
Formosa also beat Wingham by
one run, this time 13-12.
Dianne Pennington had the
only home run of the game
against Harriston. Tharon Riley
and Tes Nethery struck out a few
Harriston batters, but not enough
for a win.
One play which started with
Kathy Walker in left field
throwing the ball to short stop
Peggy Tervit and then home to
Joyce Thompson, kept Harriston
from scoring a home run.
In last Thur9day's match
Peggy Tervit scored the only
home run. Triple hits were by
Peggy Tervit, Maxine Robinson
and Kathy Walker.
The next game for the
Wingham Intermediates is
Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Walker-
