Ironman
eliminated
The Wingham Ironmen were
defeated 5-3 by the Fergus Green
Machine Monday night and
eliminated from further playoff
contention. Fergus won the best -
of -seven series four games to
one.
The Ironmen, who compiled
the best record in their division
during the regular season found
the going tough during the
playoffs. They had to rally from a
three -game deficit to beat
Meaford in the first series and
found themselves in much the
same position going into Monday
night's game. This time,
however, they failed to generate
the necessary spark and their
season ended.
A full game report and pictures
will appear in next week's Ad-
vance -Times.
