It?'.The kit contains artifacts,
which are old things which have
been dug up. Old nails are one
example. There are 19th century
objects such as a child's purse
and an apple peeler "The 'Do You
Dig It?' kit will be here for two
weeks.
KINDERGARTEN—The reading
group visited the ministry of
transportation sheds to observe
the working of the snowplows.
Afterwards the children made a
mural and sent a thank -you note
to the men who gave them., the
tour. They also had an assembly
Feb. 21. They sang songs, did
poems and did a play about Peter
and the wolf. They were glad to
see so many parents at the
assembly.
GRADE 2—Mrs. Marks' class
made winter scenes of things that
happen at home outside.
The Turnberry school had a
playday which included 10 games
