The motto, "A man's feet should be planted in his country but his eyes should survey the world", was read by Mrs. Wright. It compared life in Canada to that in other countries. Mrs. Harry Judge gave an excellent presentation on the subject of retirement, suggesting how to prepare for it and how to survive it. An interesting discussion followed. The members were reminded that the petition which they signed, requesting a rabies clinic in Huron County, was one of the many which resulted in suc- cessful rabies clinics held in January..
