Two Tournaments

'IUs Wingham Irons played
five games in two tournaments
last week, winning two and losing
three. At the Winter Games in
Kincardine Thursday the Lions
edged Elmira 7-6 in overtime
before being eliminated 13-1 by
Kincardine.
Tom Remington and Grant
Gray each scored a pair of goals
against Elmira, with Peter
Goodall, Paul Montgomery and
Steve Morrison adding singles. In
the semi -find the host Kin-
cardine team scored eight goals
in the first period and coasted
an easy win. John Butler was
Kincardine's big shooter, netting
four goals. Dave Nesbitt scored
the lone Wingham goal.
Kincardine went on to defeat
Niagara on the Lake 11-5 in the
championship final while
Lucknow captured the con-
solation final with a 5-4 win Diver
Elmira.
Sunday the Lions travelled to
Petrolia to play in the Silver Stick
