a town and Don Kennedy, centennial

there are plenty of activities leading up
to and through the big Aug. 1-6 week of
festivities.
The Wingham centennial arosscountry
ski tour will be held Jan. 13 with skiing
from Blyth and Belgrave to Wingham
and is open to the whole family.
Men at the centennial levee Monday
had a chance to get a head start in the
centennial beard growing contest, but
registrations for the contest will still be
accepted from clean-shaven people from
within a five -mile radius of Wingham
until Jan. 15. Registration is at Andy Ste.
Marie's barbershop and George of
Brussels'.
The main centennial event in ): ebruary
will be a two-day mixed curling bonspiel
