There are to be 1,500 girls taking part in this camping event, with many count- ries as well as Canada participat- ing. The girls will live in tents and cook on Coleman stoves, pur- chasing the food for each day from a central market. Each Guide and Girl Scout will choose her program for the day, having a wide variety of things to choose from, such as; swimning, sailing, canoeing, talk -ins, ser- vice projects, amphitheatre events, music and drama, nature, handicrafts, fitness, tours, and hiking.
