Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowes, Mrs. Raymond Bowes, Miss Valerie Dugoe and Russel Fair all of Lanark were visitors from Monday to Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Durnin. Other relatives in the community visited with them at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Durnin. Mrs. Eileen Parker of Exeter spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Ben McClenaghan, and ,brother Carl and Mrs. Me- Clenaghan. On Tuesday last Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Simmons and other relatives in London. On Wed- nesday all visited with relatives at Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mc- Clenaghan of Waterloo visited with his mother, Mrs. Ben Mc- Clenaghan, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans spent Monday in London. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Purdon visited last week with their daughter, Mrs. Donald Gaunt and Mr. Gaunt of Chatham. The Young People's Society held a picnic Friday evening at the end of the 12th in Ashfield. Miss Barbara Purdon of Kit- rs wtth Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Fair of second concession, Kinloss, last week, were Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Savron and family of B.C., Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Vokey of Guelph, Mr. and Mrs. Mery Auger, Elmira, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fair, Guelph. Mr. and Mrs. C. Versteeg, father and mother of Bill Ver- steeg, and his uncle, W. Versteeg of Holland, are spending a few weeks with son Bill, Mrs. Ver- steeg, Andy and Linda of East Wawanosh. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Camp- bell, Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rintoul, were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Neil Rintoul and family of West Wawanosh. Doubtless, parents had as much fun as their children when the two -wheeled vehicles were decorated.
