was a bit late for Easter, but showed one thing—there'd be

held Thursday evening with
seven tables in play. After the
play, refreshments were served
and trophies and prizes were pre-
sented.
Winners of the evening's play
were: north and south: first, Mr.
and Mrs. J. H. Crawford; second,
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. French; east
and west: first; Mrs. D. B. Porter
and Mrs. F. A. Parker;- second,
Mrs. Joe Kerr and Miss Yvonne
McPherson.,
The ladies' cup winner for the
season was Mrs. J. H. Crawford;
runner-up was Mrs. Parker;
men's cup winner, J. E. Martin;
runner-up, Leonard George;
ladies' high average for the
season, Mrs. John Hay; runner-
up, Mrs. Parker; men's high
average, Farish Moffat; runner-
up, Dr. A. R. DuVal.
Mr. French presented the
