The board granted permission
to the Hesson Youth Club to use
one of the board -owned buses at
Hesson March 11 to take up to 50
members to Kitchener to see the
Ice Capades. The club will be
asked to pay for the cost of gaso-
line at the rate of 25 cents per
mile plus the cost of hiring one of

judges Saturday as the Royal Canadian Legion held its public speaking contest. Winners
in the junior high school class were: Susan Brooks, third from Lucknow on Child Abuse;
Allison Roberts, first, from Belgrave on Suffragettes and Tirri Morrison, second, from
Wingham on Hang Gliding. Don Farnell, community services officer, presents Allison
with the Wingham Advance -Times trophy.

held Friday at two o'clock in St.
Andrew's Presbyterian church.
Mrs: Alvin Mundell will be the
guest speaker for the service
which features the theme,
"Education—For All of Life".
The printed program was written
by the Christian womgp of Latin
America.
The service will attempt to
show Christians how they must
react to the realities of division,
oppression and injustice. "All
'that we know and understand, we
must use as instruments to make
life more human in the concrete
situations in which we live."
As people from all over the
world meet l on Friday to share
common problems, it is the fer-
vent hope of all that they shall
leave their meeting places with a
new understanding to reach 'out
in love to meet the needs of their
less fortunate brothers.
