hats. He has been applauded
for his achievement as an
author, a broadcaster, a
playwright and as a comic
with an extraordinary spry
wit. He is also noted for his
"sensitivity to Canada — its
politics, arts, music, litera-
ture and history." Although
this year marks his first as
host of the ACTRA Awards,
Don and Millie, the af-
fectionate name given to the
ACTRA statue, became
acquainted last year when
Don and Judy Ingram both
picked up honors for Best
Radio Interviewer of the
Year.
