Last summer, the federal
government and the
Province of Ontario signed a
new agreement under " the
National Training Act, ex-

Western Foundry, who also
plays a key role in the Huron
County Industrial Training
Committee.
The Act, which replaces an
older agreement, aims to
ensure Canadians can be
retrained to meet new oc-
cupational needs, and it
provides substantial funds
for both institutional and on-
the-job training.
"What it means, really, in
simple language, is if you
can prove to Manpower that
you can provide employment
or upgrade a skill, then you
will almost certainly be
given some form of fun-
