Man jailed on
fraud charges
A Goderich man was
sentenced to four months in
jail Monday on 15 counts of
fraud arising from incidents
which took place in and
around Wingham.
Robert Douglas Selling, 36,
formerly of Wingham, also
was sentenced to con-
secutive jail terms on a
number of other charges laid
by Stratford and Goderich
police.
The fraud charges were
laid by' the Wingham OPP
after complaints that Mr.
Seiling, at that time a
salesman for the Fuller
Brush Company, was col-
lecting money from
customers but not remitting
it to the company. Police
reported the total amount of
money involved was about
$165.
The case was tried in
provincial court at Goderich.
The sentence will be served
in the Walkerton jail.
