ritan topic
WI meeting
Mrs. Arnold Jeffrey chose
as her special feature an
article on, Paul's .com-
mendation of Timothy to the
church at Corinth. The
writer spoke of the need to
encourage young ministers.
"If you put yourself in the
other person's place, you will
understand their problems
and be helpful to all you
meet," she concluded.
The study question, "Who
is my neighbor?" was in-
toduced by reading the
stoiy of the Good Samaritan
from the gospel according to
Luke. Mrs. Dickson told the
story of a modern good
Samaritan, Fran Mesick,
who works as a people's
advocatein Schenectady,
New York. Questions were
discussed comparing the
biblical and modern
Samaritans.
The meeting conchided
with the singing of "Blest Be
the Tie That Binds” and
benediction by the president.
Mrs. Arnold Jeffrey served
tea and cookies during the
fellowship hour.
