Kenyon, Minnesota; three
grandchildren; and one
sister, Alice Butterfield of
North Hollywood, California,

Walker Funeral Home,
Wingham, where many
friends paid their respects
Wednesday afternoon and
evening. Removal was made
Thursday ` to, St: Andrew's
Presbyterian Church,
Wingham, where service
was conducted at one o'clock
by Rev. Dr. Hobert H.
Armstrong. Six members of
St. Andrew's church choir
served as pallbearers:
Gordon Wall, Gordon
Leggatt, Raymond Neill,
John Campbell, Jim Wilson
and John Donaldson. Other
choir tnembers forined an
honor 'guard as the casket
left the church.
Committal service took
place Friday at 11 a.m. in
Park Lawn Cemetery,
Toronto, Mr. Ostrom's final
resting place.
Mrs. Elizabeth Leslie
dies in local hospital
Following a brief illness,
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Leslie
of Belgrave passed away
Saturday, May 16, at the
Wingham and District
Hospital.
Mrs. Leslie was born in
Loring, Northern Ontario, 92
years ago and was the for-
mer Mary Elizabeth Wiley,
daughter of the late Wesley
Wiley and Mary Kirton.
During her childhood years
she lived in Turnberry
Township where she
received her elementary
education. She then moved
with her family to Saskat-
chewan and married Jay
Leslie in Humboldt,
Saskatchewan, on March 25,
1914. They lived in Saskat-
chewan and Alberta and her
husband predeceased her
there.
In 1948, Mrs. Leslie moved
from Calgary to Turnberry
Township to care for her
aunt and uncle, Belle and
John Kirton. After their
deaths she came to Morris
Township to keep house for
her cousins, Rob and Ernest
Michie, and in 1966 she
moved with them to
Belgrave where she resided

Neill of 1050 Hyde St.,
Woodstock. Mrs. Neill
passed away in, Woodstock
'General Hospital in her 67th
year.
Besides her husband, Karl,'
Mrs. 'Neill is survived by
three sons, Archie and Bruce
of Woodstock and Eldon of
.Kitchener; one daughter,
Mrs. Norma Armstrong of
Woodstock; 21 grand -
,children and 14 great
''grandchildren. She is • also
survived by two brothers,
Harvey of Brussels and
Melville, Gorrie; and one
sister, Mrs. Harold Thomas
of Brussels. She was
predeceased by two
children, Hilda and Dennis.
Pallbearers were six ,
grandsons and . interment
was at Oxford, Memorial
.Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
Mr. and Mrs. Neill were, at
one • time,residents of
Gorrie.

grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren. There is one
surviving sister, Mrs. Oscar
(Ethel) Allen of Viscount,
Saskatchewan.
Funeral service was held
May 19 at The Currie -Walker
Funeral Home, Wingham, at
two o'clock with Rev. John
Roberts officiating. In-
terment followed in
Wroxeter Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob
Grasby, George Michie,
Ross Anderson, Harold
Coulson, Gordon Martin and
Jim Kirton. Floral tributes
were carried by Lewis
Stonehouse and Jack Taylor.

visiting and helping the

A, special Mother's Day
service was held in the
chapel Sunday morning.
Mrs. Elsie Henderson sang a

Bissett at the organ. The
congregation enjoyed two
solos by 'Mrs. Wittick. The
choir sangthe anthem,
"Heaven Is Nearer Since
Mother Is There".

Wingham, passed away in
Listowel Memorial Hospital

63rd year.
Surviving, besides his
wife, the former Jean
Longman of Listowel, is one
son, Wayne --of Colborne,
Ontario. There are two
grandchildren, Stephen and
Michael; also three sisters,
Mrs. Annie Vanstone and
Mrs. Mary Kerr, both . of
Winghan1, and Mrs. Esther

Ewart of Chesley. She was
in her 73rd year and death
followed a brief illness.

Margaret Allen, she was

is survived by one

Wingham; two sons, Don
