In the second period the
Royals again started off
strongly and had several
good scoring chances, but
t• he Sailors notched the only
goal to bring the score to 4-2
at the end of the period.
The third frame again pro-
vided a lot of fast hockey
action, but produced only
one goal. Rick Jacklin made
an excellent play to out -
muscle two Sailor defence-
men in front of the Goderich
net and beat a sprawling
goaltender to put the game
out of reach. Russ Jones
assited on the goal.
The Royals were full mark
for their victory with the
team as a whole playing very
well': Ed Williams with a goal
and three Assists and Don
Hastie with a goal and two
assists led the way. Except
for a let down in the second
frame when Goderich
Carried the play, the•Royaki
were in control of a game
that saw Wingham take six
of nine minor penalties
called. Those. penalties
.producedone Of the Goderich
goals, but the- Royals ef-
fect ively killed the
remainder.
The Wingham club will not
see action until Feb. 6 when
it will be seeking to improve
its playoff position. Come see
the Royals in action.

The Teeswater Agri -Lotto
draw was held on Jan, 20 at
the Bank of Montreal in
Teeswater.
The $300 prize was won by
Dave Grant of Formosa and
the $200 prize was won by
William Schneider, Tees -
water.
