RETIRING—Lloyd 'Casey' Casemore, centre, receives a certificate of appreci-
ation from Art Giedhll, group vice president of the building division of Stanley
Door Systems Ltd., Connecticut, and a watch for 25 years of service from Jack
Smith, president of the company. Mr. Caaemore, who will be retiring from the
company In October, was presented with the tokens during a special luncheon
held in his honor last week.

Burwell (Helen Galbraith) of
Denver, Colorado, have been
guests • with Mr. and Mrs.
Ken Galbraith for the past
week and visiting other
relatives and friends. Mrs.
Burwell is a sister of Ken and
Mrs. Reg Watson.
The area meeting of the
directors of the Women's
Institute was held at the
home of Mrs. Mac Allan on
Monday under the direction
of Mrs. William Humphries
of'Walton.
Mrs. Elgie of London ,is
visiting at the home of her
son, Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Elgie, while her husband is a
patient in hospital. Wroxeter
friends hope he will be able
to return home soon in im-
proved health.

The McMichael Sisters
attended the Western Fair on
Saturday and participated in
the step -dancing competition
where Janice placed fourth
in her class and the group
received second prize.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Watson
and Marina have returned to
Canada after six, years in
England where Bert was
employed in insurance. They
are now visiting at the home
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Reg°Watson.
Sympathy of the com-
munity is extended to
relatives and friends of the
late James Sanderson who
passed away in Rosetown
last, Wednesday. Mrs.
Sanderson is . the former
Leila Hislop. Mrs. Cliff
Marks, Mrs. William Hart of
Listowel and " Mrs. Adrien
Poirier of Weston flew out to
attend the funeral.
