Mr. Caaemore, who will be retiring from the company In October, was presented with the tokens during a special luncheon held in his honor last week. MRS. ALLAN GRIFFITH Wroxeter Personals Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rivest have had as their guests recently the latter's sister, Mrs. Leo Marchand, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Eugene Gagner, both of Tilbury. Mr. and Mrs. Mosley Burwell (Helen Galbraith) of Denver, Colorado, have been guests • with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Galbraith for the past week and visiting other relatives and friends. Mrs. Burwell is a sister of Ken and Mrs. Reg Watson. The area meeting of the directors of the Women's Institute was held at the home of Mrs. Mac Allan on Monday under the direction of Mrs. William Humphries of'Walton. Mrs. Elgie of London ,is visiting at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elgie, while her husband is a patient in hospital. Wroxeter friends hope he will be able to return home soon in im- proved health. Mr. and Mrs. Charles" Bodfis L ndor�, visited Sunday their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Griffith. Evening guests at the same home were Mr. and Mrs. James Robertson, Goderich. The McMichael Sisters attended the Western Fair on Saturday and participated in the step -dancing competition where Janice placed fourth in her class and the group received second prize. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Watson and Marina have returned to Canada after six, years in England where Bert was employed in insurance. They are now visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reg°Watson. Sympathy of the com- munity is extended to relatives and friends of the late James Sanderson who passed away in Rosetown last, Wednesday. Mrs. Sanderson is . the former Leila Hislop. Mrs. Cliff Marks, Mrs. William Hart of Listowel and " Mrs. Adrien Poirier of Weston flew out to attend the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. George Allan and family, Sarnia, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Allan and family, Toronto, were weekend guests with their mother, Mrs. Mac Allan. Sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd, McGee who last Friday attended the funeral in London of a sister- in-law, Mrs. Doris McGee. Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Elliot have returned home from a week's visit at the home of their daughter, Mr.� and Mrs. James Ferguson and family, Sault Ste. Marie, Weekend guests with their parents were Mr. and Mrs. Scott Galbraith, Clark Galbraith, all of Kitchener, Mr. and Mrs. James Galbraith, London, and Keith Galbraith, Goderich. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Gibson, Barrie, visited his. father, Gordon Gibson, at the weekend. A.number of area families attended the Western Fair in London last week, among them `Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elgie and Becky and Mr. and 4' Mrs. Gordon Hislop. Wroxeter United Church celebrates its anniversary on Sunday, September 21. The 11 am service will be con- ducted by Rev. Victor Buchanan and the 8 pm service by Rev. Wesley Ball. Beaton of Knox Church, Preston, moderator of the Presbytery of Waterloo -Wellington, conducted' the worship. service. Rev. Robert ' A. Jackson of Knox Church, Galt, served as interim moderator. Mr. Henderson's father, Rev. W. A. Hen- derson of Knox Church, Woodstock, gave the charge to the minister and Rev. George Bell, who succeeded Mr. Henderson at Knox - Calvin Church, Harriston, addressed the congregation. Rev. John C. Henderson is a nephew of Mrs. Mundell and Rev. R. D.
