JAPANESE DINNER The students from Mr. Ste. wart's amt Mr. FarnelPs rooms have been studying ilarian. On December 12th, the 2 class- es had a Japanese dinner. This dinner consisted of Japanese savoury rice, fish, green tea and Japanese chewies.. Their guests were Mr. Robert- son, Mrs. Cumming, a parent volunteer, and Mr. R. Stewart, our custodian. We hope they all enjoyed this Japanese dinner and I'm sure it was an excellent way for the stu- dents to learn about Japanese food. Wendy Langendoen LISTQWEL MUSIC NIGHT On the evening of December 13, some of the interinediate choir members journeyed to the high school in Listowel to -participate in the LDSS Christmas Music Night. The night was very stormy and only 13 people out of our 55 member choir were able to get there. Although the ranks were drastically depleted, the choir members and Mr. Parsons exhibited courage and deter- mination by still performing their numbers as planned. It was an enjoyable and excel- lent evening of entertainment. Kendra Robertson THINKING OF OTHERS Last week was called "Think- ing of Others Week" at our school. At Christmas time this is very important since it's the sea- son to be kind and think of others. To show we are thinking of others each class is sending a decorated box full of canned foods to the Salvation Army.
