CEREMONIAL RIBBON—Mrs. Jack Reavie cuts the ribbon at the official opening of the, Jack Reavie Opportunity Workshop for mentally retarded adults. On her left is Esther Cantelon, workshop manager and Harvey Webster (right), association member for 20 years. - - • PRESENTS KEY—Rick Rikker, architect of the new day care centre presents the key to the centre to Mayor William Walden. The official opening was held Friday evening with a large Crowd to watch the proceedings and to tour the building. Fleetham for Mr. and Mrs, Erwin Stone, Brenda Brears, Brenda Loch, Beverley McCann, Mary Lou Ruttan, Paul Douglas, Eve - line Zurbrigg and Donna Martin, and Mrs. Holger Feldskov by transfer. Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Lambkin were Mr. and Mrs. Don Lambkin and family of Kitchener, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lambkin of Ethel and Mr. and Mrs. Jim France and son of Ripley. Mrs. Don King is confined to Listowel Memorial Hospital, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Dietrich and family of St. Agatha were week- end guests with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald D'Arcey. Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stinson were Jim Richards of London and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Burrow arid family of Sarnia. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bott and family of Alma were Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Parker Eurig. Mr. and Mrs. John Keis and family of Elora visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Barry D'Ar- cey. Harold -Foster was able to return home from Palmerston hospital where he.had undergone surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Les Halliday visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. James Carney at _ Milton. Mrs. Ken Graham is spending a few -days this week with -relatives at Tara and Owen Sound. Mr. and Mrs. Les Halliday and Mrs. Ken Graham attended the anniversary church services at Keady on Sunday and also were guests with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Halliday of Chesley and attended the 40th wedding anniversary of the Hallidays at the Keady Com- munity Centre. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hunt and family visited Sunday with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Webster at Lucknqw. Mr. and Mrs. G. Parkinson of Toronto spent the weekend with Henry Mundt and visited with the latter's mother, Mrs Ruh, Foster in the Listowel Memorial Hospital. Gary Klaassen of Thunder Bay spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs. Ted Klaassen. A number of ladies from Ford- wich and Kurtzville enjoyed a bus trip with ladies from Gorrie on Thursday for an afternoon at Stratford and in the evening saw the play, "All's Well that Ends Well" at the Shakespearean Festival' Jim Greer, Alex Donaldson, Rick Hunt, Ken Karges and Wil- liam Campbell attended the 25th annual Men's Conference of the United Church over the weekend, held at Delawana Inn, Honey Harbor. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Williamson on their 65'th wedding anniversary. A . family gathering was held Sun- day in their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aitcheson Wallace.
