Overcoming
fear of death
and sickness
BRUSSELS --On Sunday, Nov. 12,
Thelma Steinman gave the message
at the Brussels Mennonite Fellow-
ship on the topic "Overcoming the
Fear of Sickness and Death".
On Sunday, Nov. 19, Paul
Greenwood spoke on "Overcoming
the Fear of Threats to Our Chil-
dren". Mr. Greenwood referred to
the anguished experience of. Mary
and Joseph when Jesus was lost in
the temple, but found after much
searching. He pointed out that we
all have fears concerning our chil-
dren. Fears are real and not all are
unhealthy.
• Unhealthy fears restrict our lives
and cause disfunction. Risks are
relative and we need to put risks
into perspective to channel our
fears. Teens see our fears as a lack
of trust, but we need to be honest
with our children concerning our
fears.
Phailop Larprom was worship
leader and Lucy Hesse and Nancy
Elliot -Greenwood led the congrega-
tional singing. Carl Siemon will
bring the message next week.
Sandra Dorsch and won by Ellen
Procter of RR 4, Brussels; third
prize, a wooden toile painted bun-
ny, donated by. Alice Yuill and won
by Lois Chamney; fourth prize, a
glass platter donated by Scrimge-
our's Food Market and won by
Anne Thompson of Wingham and
fifth prize, a tolle painted bear, do-
nated by Mrs. Yuill and won by
Josephine Lang, Wingham.
The guiding units thank all the
parents and grandparents for their
generous donations of baking and
crafts, their hours of help and also
to the many who attended from
Belgrave and area to make the sale
a success.
Earlier this month, the Brownies
went to Mrs. Yuill's and made tea
biscuits, rice krispee squares, choc-
olate suckers and jello jigglers for
the craft and bake sale.
All the Sparks went to Lianne
Swanson's to get ready for the sale.
While there they made jello jig-
glers, brownies and wrapped choc-
olate candies.

passed By-law No. 2316 (1995) on the 21st day of November, 1995 under section
34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
AND TAKE NOTICE that any persons or agency may appeal to the Ontario Mu-
nicipal Board in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Town of Wing -
ham, no later than the 19th day of December, 1995, a notice of appeal setting out
the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, ac-
companied by payment of the fee prescribed under the Ontario Municipal Act.
AMOUNT OF FEE payable on appeal is $125.00.
Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a zoning by-law to
the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an un-
incorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in
the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group.
AN EXPLANATION of the purpose and effect of the By-law, describing the lands
to which the By-law applies is provided below and a Key Map showing the loca-
tion of the affected lands is attached. The complete by-law is available for in-
spection at the Clerk's Office during regular office hours.
DATED AT THE TOWN OF WINGHAM THIS 29TH, DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1995
J.Byron Adams,
Clerk -Treasurer
Town of Wingham
Box 90, Wingham, Ontario
NOG 2W0
(519) 357-3550
PURPOSE AND EFFECT:
The purpose of the zoning by-law amendment is to change the required size of
"site triangles" as defined within the Zoning By-law.
This rezoning affects only comer lots within the Town of Wingham. The Town of
Wingham has initiated this zoning change and proposes to change the distance
measurement used in defining site triangles from 15 metres to 12 metres. In or-
der to calculate the site triangle, a point 12 metres from the comer of a comer lot,
in each direction, is jointed by a line. The area within this triangular space is
known as the site triangle. This amendment will affect all comer lots within the
Town of Wingham with the exception of the core area Commercial Zone (C4).
