The Pee Wee Bs didn't have any extra effort and Ayton did what it took to steal the win. Tom Mullin scored the lone Wingham goal from a long shot from the point, from Tim Robin- son. Wingham started to come on later in the game, but were unable to to get hack into the game, be- cause of the l0 -minute periods. The effort was much improved Sunday, but the results were the same. Visiting Mildmay jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the second af- ter the teams played a well hal- anced first period. Fighting back, Justin Campbell scored the team's first shorthanded goal of the season after Adam McQuiggan slarnmed an Ayton player into the hoards with some good forechecking hustle. Then Kyle Anderson scored with assists from Peter Dixon and Craig Marks to make it close. At the 11:17 mark of the third period Garrett Skinn fired a shot high to tie the game at three. Assists were received by Aaron Himmelman and Geoff Lindsay. Mildmay won the game with less then three minutes left in the third period, on a breakaway shot that was just too hot to handle. Wingham pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and came close, but just couldn't get the equalizer.
