The Lancers won the first game of the series, 10-1, played 'Friday evening in Lucknow. The Lancers held a 3-0 first period lead in the second game, played Saturday in Dundalk, but the Flyers responded with three unanswered third period goals to claim a 4-3 win. Chris Irwin, Russell Sutton and Brad Murray gave the Lancers a 3- 0 lead Saturday evening. The Flyers scored once in the second period and added three more in the third period to post the win. Jeff Davidson tallied two goals for Dundalk with singles added by Blair Inglis and Shawn Miller. The Lancers took a 6-0 first pe- riod lead on Friday and stretched their advantage to 8-0 after 40 minutes of play. Scott Hackett fired three goals for the Lancers in 10-1 decision with Steve Simpson getting a goal and three assists. Sutton contribut- ed a goal and two assists with ,Brad Priestap and Irwin each get- ting a goal and one assist. Single markers were tallied'by Stan:Kik- kert, Grant Gilchrist, and Steve Murray. Sean VanAlstine tallied the lone goal for the Flyers. Game three in the best four of seven series goes Friday in Luck - now at 8:30 p.m. The fourth game will be played Saturday in Dun- dalk at 8 p.m., and the fifth game will be played Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Lucknow Area Sports Com- plex. The Teeswater Falcons dropped a 7-4 decision to the Flyers on Feb. 26 to lose the quarter -final se- ries thret games to one.
