unites Belgrave cou
A double -ring ceremony, per-
formed amid a beautiful peach and
white setting in Knox United
Church, Belgrave, united in mar-
riage two Belgrave young people,
Andrea Marguerite Coultes and
William Scott Stevenson. Rev. Peter
Tucker officiated for the three
o'clock ceremony on Oct. 7. Mrs.
Elizabeth Procter of RR 5, Brussels,
was organist.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and
Mrs. William Coultes, RR 5, Brus-
sels, and the groom is a son of
William Stevenson of RR 4, Brussels
and Mrs. Shirley LaFortune of
Ganges, B.C.
Mrs. Joanne Chapman of RR 5,

Brussels, was, pianist and Mrs. Jan-
ice Matheson of RR 1, Listowel,
sang "0 Perfect Love" just before
the bride entered the church and
"May Each Day" during the sign-
ing of the register..Mrs. Karen Cook
of Belgrave read the chapter on
love, 1 Corinthians: 13, during the
ceremony:, Allthree are sisters of
the bride.
For her -special day, the bride
chose a white satin gown with
sweetheart neckline, front lace
panel, embossed lace medallions on
the bouffant skirt and crystalette
bordering the ,Hemline and forming
a ascading cathedral train. A fin -
gertip veil flowed from a white
satin cap and she carried a bouquet
of bridal white and sonia roses,
purple freesia and trailing English
ivy sprinkled with pearl sprays.
Alison Coultes of London was
her sister's maid of honor and
bridesmaids were Meribeth Scott,
RR 1, Belgrave, a friend of the bride
and Lissa Stevenson, the groom's
sister, of RR 4, Brussels. They were
dressed alike in calf -length shrimp
satin dresses'with peplums, gath-
ered sleeves and open heart -shaped
back bodices. Their bouquets were
bridal white and sonia roses, purple

achievements by sales representa-
tives, which includes 40,000 full-
time and part-time men and
women. Mrs. King's and Mrs.
McIntosh's sales activities have also
contributed to the corporations
"Company with a Heart" program
through which nearly 31,000 sets of
encyclopedia have been donated
locally since 1983 to deserving fam-

FORDWICH—The Anglican
Church Women of Trinity met
Thursday night, Oct. 19, ,at the
home of Mrs. Stewart Rowley. Pres-
ident Jean Sothern presided, led
opening exercises and thanked the
hostess. Mrs. Jocelyn Daunt led
devotions.
Roll call was answered by 22
members, with donations to St.
Monica House. Members were told
that the new roof on the rectory has
been completed. Plans were dis-
cussed for the bazaar, bake sale and
tea on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Ford-
wich'hall. There will also be a lunch
following the 100th anniversary
service in Trinity on Nov. 12 and
the group will cater for a banquet in
November and lunch for an
anniversary.
Mrs: Mary Kato presented' a
chapter from the study book and
Mrs. Sbthern reported on the fall
Deanery held in Byfield on Oct. 3.
The ACW Christmas meeting and
dinner will be held Thursday, Dec.
14, at 7 p.m. in the Fordwich hall.
The November meeting will be at
the home of Mrs. Dave Dinsmore; a
guest will demonstrate Christmas
corsages and roll call will be a verse
on Remembrance Day.
Mrs. Velma Sothern gave an
interesting talk on good health and'
introduced an eating,guide which
explained that well-balanced meals
are important to good health. The
