Knox WMS meets at Elmwood home GORRIE—The Women's Mis- sionary Society of Knox Presbyteri- an Church met at the home Of Mrs. James Robinson, RR 3, Elmwood. Mrs. Alvin Mundell read the min- utes of the -June meeting and reported on the society activities in July. The game, "Web of Poverty", was played providing an entertain- ing and thought-provoking conclu- sion to this year's study, with its feelings and issues cards and the frustration of backtracking, sitting in the welfare office or the jail or sleeping under a bridge. After a potluck supper, a nature walk was enjoyed through the woods and on the crest of one of the higher hills in Grey County. A short visit to the Saugeen Conser- vation Area to see the wild fowl, concluded a perfect day.
