BELMORE—The annual Darling -
Sangster reunion was held Aug. 6
in. the Belmore Community Centre
and park, with 102 in attendance.
The executive in charge of this

Ayla of Grand 'Valley. They gath-
ered to greet Mr. and Mrs. Brian
Tate, Neil and Anna of Surrey, Eng-
land, who were spending three
weelcs in Canada. Brian Tate is Mrs.

Knox WMS meets
at Elmwood home
GORRIE—The Women's Mis-
sionary Society of Knox Presbyteri-
an Church met at the home Of Mrs.
James Robinson, RR 3, Elmwood.
Mrs. Alvin Mundell read the min-
utes of the -June meeting and
reported on the society activities in
July. A letter of thanks was read
from the F1+esbyterial children's sec-
retary, Mrs. Margaret Hamilton.

Mrs. Glenn Haldenby informed
the members that the Presbyterial
will sponsor a bus trip to Crieff
Hills on Sept. 11. Those interested
in going should give their names to
Mrs. Robert Arbuckle of Wingham
before Sept. 1.
The game, "Web of Poverty",
was played providing an entertain-
ing and thought-provoking conclu-
sion to this year's study, with its
feelings and issues cards and the
frustration of backtracking, sitting
in the welfare office or the jail or
sleeping under a bridge.
After a potluck supper, a nature
walk was enjoyed through the
woods and on the crest of one of
the higher hills in Grey County. A
short visit to the Saugeen Conser-
vation Area to see the wild fowl,
concluded a perfect day.
