It is a tough challenge even to
qualify to compete at the All -

even tougher to win. Qualifying

Correction
A story in last week's edition of
the newspaper about area players
picked in the Midget hockey draft,
reported that Steve Gibson is a resi-
dent of Fordwich.
In fact, Gibson is a Wroxeter
native. We apologize for any confu-
sion this may have caused.
Bares defeat
Pizza Delight
The Shoppers Drug Mart Blue -
vale Bares were victorious over
another Listowel team recently,
downing Pizza Delight 5-1 last
Tuesday night.
The Bares' strong defense held
Pizza Delight off the scoreboard
until the sixth inning. Great pitch-
ing by Judy Lappage and all-round
good fielding, especially by centre -
fielder Lisa Henry, contributed to
the win.
Tracey Nicholson recorded the
only run -batted -in for the Bares.
The Bares thank their local spon-
sors for donating prizes to their
lucky draws which will be held at
home games.
