passing play by John -Greig; Jas
Jacobson and Donald Livermore
salted in a goal by Livermore at
etre of the goal grease.
The -second goal was also a tis ,tac.

Todd Templeman drawing assists.
The teams exchanged second peri-
od goals.
Jeff Herron scored a power play
goal for Drayton when he beat Peter
Stewart cleanly. Jaret Henhoeffer
intercepted a pass at the Howick
blueline and raced the entire ice sur-
face to beat Petrik cleanly with a
low corner wrist shot.
Phillip Livermore scored the only
goal of the third frame on a hard
snap shot from directly in front of
the net.
Henhoeffer gave Livermore a per-
fect pass from the corner. Temple-
man also drew an assist.
Each team had eight penalties as
the third period became very chippy
after the teams played extremely
well in the first two periods. Stewart
and Petrik played very well in their
respective goals.

Senior Tykes downed
by Mildmay, Belgrave
Last Thursday, Dec. 15, the
Wingham Senior Tyke team visited
the Blyth arena for a game against
Belgrave. The 10-4 score in favor of
Belgrave does not indicate the
calibre of play.
The Tykes played a consistently
strong game . with Zachary
O'Krafka, assisted by Adam
McQuiggan, scoring the only goal of
the first period.
The second frame looked a little
better with Wingham scoring three
in a row, the first -by Curtis Ritchie,
unassisted; another by O'Krafka,
unassisted and the final Wingham
marker by Darrin Cole, with an
assist going to Jonathon Mont-

However, Tom Pfeiffer's strong
goaltending and Peter Irwin's nine
goals and one assist proved to he dust
too much for the Wingham tesiin.`.'
The team travelled to Mildmay
recently as well, losing 9-1.
Wingham played a strong defensive
game. Mildmay's regular goalie
knew all the angles and held back all
scoring attempts but O'Krafka's,
assisted by Jamie Chester and
Garrett Skinn.
For some.real guaranteed hockey
action, come to the team's next
