• The fall season of entertainment
'begips Friday, Sept. 15, at the
Teeswater Town Hall with an eve-
ning presentation of classical. piano
and Mite. The two young performers
are Lisa Armstrong and Henri
Gauci. -
Ms. Armstrong, daughter of Wat-
son and Kirsten Armstrong of Tees -
water, is a young woman who
received her first piano lessons in.
Teeswater, starting at the age of
seven.
She has performed as soloist in
music festivals and concerts, in'
addition to accompanying various
choirs and instrumentalists as she
grew up.
In 1984 she moved to Hamilton and
studied at Mohawk College under
the direction of Some of the finest in-
structors in Canada,: Her private
studies were with Patricia Rolston.
Since that time, Ms. Armstrong
has performed extensively
throughout the Hamilton and
Toronto areas,.
Last year she performed a Mozart
plane concert with the McMaster
Symphony Orchestra. Shillow has
moved to Montreal, Where, she will
attend, hinGittfroitersity to further
her studies -lit classical music.
Also playing In Teeswater on Sept.
15 will be -'10111". Valid, a native of
Ajax. Mr. Gauci began playing the
flute at the age of 12. Laterite'
in several. Toronto -area iflilftary
bands, travelling across Canada and
the United States.
He graduated ° from Mohawk
College in April of last year with a
diploma in music performance.
In his spare time, Mr. Gauci
