high school students from
,Sweden, Denmark, Norway,
Finland, Germany, Swit-
zerland, Great Britain and
Holland for the 1985-86 school
year.
The program is sponsored
by the American -Scandina-
vian Student Exchange pro-
gram (ASSE), a non-profit,
public -benefit, tax-exempt
organization, affiliated with
the Swedish and Finnish
ministries of education and
officially designated by the
U.S. Information Agency as
an "exchange visitor pro-
gram".

UCW afternoon unit
BRUSSELS -The af-

Church Women met last

Mrs. Lyle Brothers and Mrs.
Gordon Hazelwood and
opened with the singing of
"Onward Christian
Women".
Mrs. Brothers took as her
theme, "New Life in Christ",
complete with scripture
lessons from the Book of
John. The hymn, `.Breathe
on Me Breath of God" was.

meditation and prayer. The
collection was taken and
dedicated.
"Come Holy Ghost" was
sung, followed by a prayer to
conclude the worship portion
of the meeting.
The minutes of the last
meeting were read and the
roll call answered with a
spring thought. A letter was
read from the'' family ser-
vices branch of Huron
County asking for new
members.

at St. Paul's
The Venerable William
Graham, Archdeacon of
South Saugeen, was present
for the morning service at St.
Paul's Anglican Church Sun-
day when a large congrega-
tion and many visitors at-
tended a dedication service.
Rev. Douglas Madge con-
ducted the service and
others taking part were Jean
Lewis, who read the lesson,
Bob Ritter read the Gospel
and Rob McKay led the in-
tercessions.
The dedications included
restored church windows in
memory of Wilma Kerr and
a Christ figure in memory of
Rev; John Swan.
Communion service fol-
lowed the sermon, delivered
by Archdeacon Graham. A
reception was held in the
parish room after the serv-
ice.
Carpeting in the vestibule,
narthex and centre aisle of
St. Paul's was made possible
through the bequest of Mrs.
Kerr. Flowers on the altar in
her memory on Sunday were
the gift of her husband, Joe.

Mrs. Jim Smith gave some
information on the island of
Yaps in the Philippines and
said 50 per cent of its
population is under 20 years
of age.
After the benediction lunch
was served by the hostess.
MRS. GAIL ROBINSON, a' registered nursing assistant
at the Wingham and District Hospital, performed double
duty at last Friday's blood pressure clinic held at the
Sears order office. David Wall was her willing subject.
The clinic was held to commemorate RNA Day, which
was celebrated Monday across Canada:
