sadness after death claimed
the head of their household,
William Elgin Rintoul . of
Whitechurch, Monday,
December 10, in St. Joseph's
Hospital, London. He was in
his 74th year and death
followed a brief illness.

26, at Fordwich Village
Nursing Home in her 77th
year.
The former Mary Helen
Dunington, was born in
Sullivan . Township, a
daughter of the late Thomas
Dunington and Catherine
McArthur.
She is survived by one
sister, Mrs. Les (Betsy),
Halliday of Fordwich,, and
one nephew, Calvin Halli-
day, Maple. She was pre-
deceased by her husband.
The late Mrs'. Graham
rested at the Gorrie Chapel
of M. L. Watts Funeral
Homes until Wednesday,
Nov. 28, when Rev. Cy
Marzec conducted funeral
service at two o'clock. Inter-
ment followed in Fordwich
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John
Baker, .Harry McLeod,
Charlie Halliday, Cecil
Wilson, Archie Sinclair and
Calvin Halliday.

on August 13, 1911, one of
four children of the late
Alexander Rintoul and Jean
Gillies. He received his
elementary education at
Fordyce School • and
- throughout most of his adult
life he farmed the west half
of Lot 27, Concession 11,
West Wawanosh. He moved
to Whitechurch in 1970 but
remained active in farming.
He was a member 'of
Chalmers Presbyterian
Church, Whitechurch.
Mr. Rintoul leaves many
relatives and friends who
grieve his passing. Missing
him most are his wife, the
former Norma Caldwell,
whom he married in Blyth on
September 28, 1940; his only
son, Neil of West Wawanosh;
and his four daughters, Mrs.
Dave (Anne) Oberholtzer of
Waterloo, Mrs. Harry
(Donna) Gutoskie of Kit-
chener, Mrs. Gord (Sharon)
Campbell, Ancaster, and
Mrs. Leonard (Doris)
Robinson of East Wawanosh.
There are 11 grandchildren;
one brother, Gordon of
Whitechurch; and two
sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Euphe-
mia) Cameron, Lucknow,
and Mrs. Jim (Freda) Reid
of Florida..
Friends paid their respects
at The McBurney Funeral
Home where Mr. Rintoul
rested until Wednesday,
December 12, when funeral
service was conducted at two
o'clock by Rev. Paul L.
Mills. Interment followed in
Greenhill Cemetery, Luck -
now.
Pallbearers were Brian
Rintotil, Norman McDonald,
, Earl Jarnieson,•Bill Purdon,
Harold Gaunt and Gary
Caldwell. Floral tributes
were carried by Doug
Cameron, Leroy Rintoul,
Bob Jefferson, - Ron, Jamie-
son and George Webster.

She is survived by two

Symons of Ottawa; six
grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. Funeral

at the Brussels Chapel of M.
L. Watts Funeral Homes at
two o'clock, Rev. J. Rea
Grant officiating. Final
resting place is Brussels
Cemetery.
