For the person planning to
visit France, Fay Sharman's
"Coping with Fran' e"
contains many good pointers
— information, advice, and
helpful guidance. It cannot
be all things to all people, but
it covers a great range of
situations, most of which the
ordinary visitor will not be
concerned with.
So be not dismayed by the
vast array of pitfalls offered.
Pick out what points you
think will be most useful to
you, then proceed and hope
for the best — taking the
book with you if possible.
There is general information
on hotels, restaurants,
eating,'jiostal service, trans-
portation, money, traffic,
social customs, and unusual
features in the land of the
French. The book also con-
tains a great deal of per-
tinent language aids. Even if
you do not visit France, you
will find this volume a mine
of worthwhile knowledge.
