The Wingham Advance-Times, 1984-10-24, Page 26Page. 4 -Crossroads -Oct. 24, 1984 : s. 4 4 :tai 4 t` fry You teach and preach too much By DOROTHY ST. JOHN JACKSON DEAR DOROTHY: Why don't average men want to date me more than once? I'm an attractive 24 -}+ear - old girl, have a good figure and try to dress well. I'm also intelligent and have a college degree. What's wrong? - M.T. Dear M.T.: Maybe your intelligence overwhelms the "average" dater. You make deep v and in- verted v formations on your m's, n's, h's and w's. This points to your probing mind. Yeti like to learn but you also like to be com- pletely satisfied with the knowledge you receive. Your highly analytical mind is a great asset to your learning processes but it can also cause you to be critical of those who fall short. No one likes to be criticized, even if it's in jest. It's great to have good, thorough thinking habits, but you teach and preach too much. This is obvious as you spread wide open Schneider's Fresh Yat Pack Whole Piece Swift's Premium Smoked. Picnic ou ers those o's, a's, and g's. Conversation is some- thing to be shared. It can't be shattered by one person who is determined to ex- press her own mind through the tone of her own voice. And tact and diplo- macy are automatically lost when you pour it out candidly and frankly. The long sweeping t crossings say that you have plenty of enthusiasm, and this adds the spice to your personality. But when you combine it with too much talk and flaunted knowledge, there's a chance you'll knock the bait right out of any second dates. kg. i..4 kg 2. x 0 d Fresh Shoulder Schneider's 500 gr. pkg.
