ring Karl Malden, Paul Sorvino. Bo Reinecker was a hot-
tempered, unpredictable high school football hero when he
apparently killed his sweetheart, Lisa Nolen, one night
after he discovered her in a lover's lane with another boy.
Afterward, Bo insisted that he had blacked out during most
of the incident and could not remember the details of w,Jlat
he had done. He was found not guilty, by reason of insanity,
and sent to a mental institution rather than to life imprison-
ment. Now the 22 -year-old youth has been released. When
he returns to his small hometown, his appearance throws
the community into a turmoil, with some people vowing
vengeance against him.
